Challenge: A large multinational company in the medical technology field wanted to improve the quality of training provided by their clinical educators. A primary goal was to give these medical professionals new communication skills to improve their effectiveness in training nurses and doctors on new medical equipment.
Solution: Over several years, intensive full-day seminars were provided to new clinical educators as a part of the on-boarding process. These seminars included individual analysis regarding communications skills, train the trainer best practices, and conflict resolution skills.
Results: Participants reported high marks for the training and a newly discovered tool-set for performing their required duties. The company considered the training an essential part of the success of these new hires.
