At Villari you will learn the fundamentals of self-defense – including skills like blocking, striking, defense against punches, escapes from grabs and ground defense. Our classes are designed to teach real defense techniques for real life scenarios. Students are drilled in core movements on a regular basis until skills are instinctive.
Students are taught to recognize their own personal strengths and to be prepared to use them at any moment. This discipline results not only in improved safety, but also in increased self-awareness.
Once practitioners begin to understand fundamentals and techniques, speed and intensity become a factor making each session a workout that improves cardio, speed, flexibility, plus hand and eye coordination.
