Crystal's Creations - A former resident of China, Crystal Lands has been experimenting in various artistic mediums since the age of twelve. Whether she is sketching portraits, composing music, writing or painting, she continues to push the boundaries of each discipline she undertakes. After marrying and immigrating to Toronto, Crystal was surprised to find herself obsessed with the concept of sculpturing. In what can only be considered an "Origami revolution," Crystal transforms ordinary paper into colourful art that is immediately accessible and dynamic. Taking up to 12 hours to create, each piece is painstakingly executed by precision cutting and then is meticulously folded into a wide variety of animals, people and objects.
