Sometimes sharing a nanny might be the best option for your family – a more affordable alternative! When two families get together to share a nanny for their children, this is called a “Nanny Share”. The nanny can care for both sets of children on all days, or alternate between caring for one family’s children on one day, and the other family’s children on the other days. With a nanny share, the families involved should have the same philosophies on parenting, routines, discipline, etc. In most nanny shares, the involved families have one child each. Nanny share nannies usually work between 45- 50 hours per week.
