Stagette Parties

Enjoy a fabulous dinner, take a begginner salsa lesson then dance the night away to a live salsa orchestra.

Lula’s stagette package includes any appetizer, any main, any dessert, the beginner dance lesson,  a round of Blushing Bride shooters and three sets by the live salsa orchestra (with a DJ in between sets.)

On Fridays and Saturdays the package is $49 per person.

For goups of 10 and larger the bride doesnt pay for her package (Applies both Friday and Saturday).

STAGETTES FAQs

Timing: We recommend telling guests to arrive at 7pm when our doors open. This will give your group time to enjoy dinner and drinks before the salsa lesson begins at 9 PM. Stagette organizers are welcome to bring games to do at the table. The salsa lesson finishes up at about 10 PM and the band hits the stage at about 10:15. You don’t need a partner for the dance lesson. It’s really just a way to warm up the crowd and get everyone in a  party mood. (One of our Cuban bartender Manuel’s signature mojitos is pretty effective in getting the party started too!)

Entertainment: The salsa band varies from week to week and you can see which band is playing on a particular evening by referring to the “upcoming” section on the Lula home page. Band listings are usually posted about 4 weeks in advance.

Menu: The stagette package lets your guests choose any appetizer, main and dessert on our regular dinner menu. Weekly items can be found here. Also ask your servers about daily specials.

How to reserve: We’ve found that the following process works well.

1) Give us a call at 416 588 0307 or email us at reserve@lula.ca and make a tentative reservation for the approximate number of guests that you anticipate will be able to attend. That way you know you’ve got the spots on hold. Here’s the info we’ll need:

2) Send out your invites.

3) After you’ve heard back from your invitees, call us back to confirm the reservation and update your numbers. If you want to confirm for more than 8 people, we’ll need a credit card number on file. We don’t charge anything to the card in advance of the night. However there would be a $10 per person charge for any confirmed spots reserved that are not used.

4) Keep us informed about changes in your party. You have up until 2pm the day of to make changes to the reservation. Because we ofter turn people away for the dinner package, we really appreciate it if you can let us know a few days in advance if it looks like your party size has changed.
