VW Service Sched. Type 3

Service Schedule for 2006-2009 Jetta, Rabbit, Beetle, EOS, Tiguan, GTI, Passat, City:

• - Replace engine oil and filter (Synthetic Oil)
• - Lubricate locks, latches, hinges and weather-strips
• - Inspect fluid levels
• - Check all lights, horns, and wipers for proper operation/alignment
• - Check coolant, brakes and washer fluid levels
• - Check and adjust (if necessary) battery electrolyte level
• - Inspect and adjust engine drive belt(s) condition and tension as required
• - Replace dust pollen filter
• - Check automatic shift lock including park/neutral position switch for proper operation
• - Examine brakes calipers, wheel cylinders; brake line and cables for proper operation, leaks or damage. Check and report brake pad(s)/shoe(s) thickness, adjust rear brakes as required
• - Check on board diagnostics and air bag system for trouble codes
• - Examine transmission leaks, road test for proper operation
• - Examine steering rack and pinion, linkages, drive shafts and steering rack boots for looseness, damage or leakage
• - Inspect control arms, ball joints, shocks and springs for looseness or damage
• - Inspect exhaust system system for leaks or damage
• - Rotate tires * inspect for damage and wear, check and adjust pressure as required (including spare tire pressure)
• - Road test vehicle
